Hello Boys and Girls, Mungo here.

Well it seems that word has been getting around about our antics as we seem to be gaining a lot of followers in the short while since we've posted all our new material, which makes us say HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY (Yes thats right... I'm gonna teach your grandmother to suck eggs!) woooooooooo (ok for all of you that haven't seen Ren and Stimpy, don't worry, although you should do as there is no excuse, its ACE) 

More importantly, I want to thank all of you who have been spreading the love and continue to do so, as it is more helpful to the cause than anyone (including ourselves) realises at this point in time!

So anyway a little spot of obligatory plugging, we have this blog on the go which will keep you up to date with all the goings on as we like to do such things.... (as presumably you'll be reading this on one of our websites/pages/whojamaflips).
You can tap it direct at the source from here: B-Log, hell you could even subscribe to the RSS and have it beamed direct to your handheld communication devices... wouldn't that be FUN!

There's also been some interesting behind the scenes goings on in the Research Lavatory, but all will be revealed in time.... lets just say it wont be too long before we're going to be taking this show on the road....

We're going to start doing some extra fun things too, so watch this space for more information.....

A busy weekend

Hello Boys and Girls, Mungo Here.

Well its been a busy weekend for us so far, and its now wednesday! (I've not been to bed yet so as far as I am concerned it is still tuesday..)

So on friday night we uploaded 'M' for all to hear, and so far so good, we just need all of you to tell all your friends about the new tracks so more people can come and enjoy them (or hate them) haha well it'd be enjoy, as basically they are ace...

We're also now on Last FM. so please come and check us out there, sign up and get listening, as it was a RIGHT hassle! there was another Mungo on there who was getting linked to our tracks, SHAME ON YOU FAKE MUNGO, thats right i'll call you Fungo from now on and you are officially our nemesis..... what makes it worse is that they make lame-o-matic music and are total mongaloids or would it be a mungaloid in this case? who knows, but more to the point who cares... ha. (point and laugh) damn you... fungos...

Today has seen us scrambling around the archives searching for footage of us in action with mixed results, I say mixed in that, there is no live footage at this point in time, and as we've changed the set it wouldn't be relevant if it were to surface... meh in a word....

The grind continues, we've owls to stretch, ferrets to stoke and above all, we've got David Cameron coming round for tea on one of his incentives, last thing I heard he wanted us to help him promote his new scheme to have eco-friendly wi-fi. I think he's talking complete shite (as usual) but he seems to believe that by placing a Dolphin's snout/nose/BEAK?!?! in a cup of tepid horlicks and then having two peruvian midget whores caress its flippers (he said ankles but I mean come one who has seen a dolphin with ankles... idiot) it can produce wireless internet that is better for the environment but it actually gives everyone in a 100 mile radius the ebola virus. I don't want any part in it but our agent said it'd be good for our image because Cameron is marketing the whole idea as an effective way of combating street crime.... yes David, have half the nation convulse to death as their organs dissolve while you and the rest of the shadow cabinet run naked in paddling pools caressing porpoises and singing the hits of the smiths.

Oh its a funny old world we live in.....

'M' available for streaming

Hello Boys and Girls, Mungo here.

So we decided that today would be the day that we'd share the fruits of our labor with you.

Since mid November, Bowen and myself have been working intensively and pretty much non stop on project 'M'.

Towards the end of our degree, we got bogged down with a lot of crap and pointless nonsense in the name of academia (funny as we were both doing music), so in brief moments of respite from that, we'd convene in Bowen's room and frantically record any ideas we had. Fast forward a short while to last November, we discovered that we had over 40 ideas to choose from, some from those sessions and others we'd worked on in the mean time.

We've uploaded 'M' to our facebook and reverbnation profiles, and there are track snippets available on the myspace but they can't handle our progressive nature so we couldn't put any full tracks on there! silly billys....

I'd like to tell you a bit more about 'M' but I've hardly slept all week mastering and doing the final overdubs on the damn thing so I think I'd kinda like to sleep just now, anyway I hope you all enjoy it, its quite an eclectic offering and will be available to buy soon.

72 HOURS & COUNTING

So here we are, just 72 hours away from of the new Mungo EP and the beginning of our Noel Edmonds look-a-like competition.So as you can imagine we are both running around like blue arsed flys making the final preparations to the music, artwork and numerous root vegetables which we plan on pushing through a fine mesh in order to remove any habberdashers that may be hiding in the broth.

A quick note

So things are hotting up in the Mungatronic Research Lavatory...

Since November we've been working on a 5 track E.P. that goes by the name of 'M', its a little window into our world and its all new music and ideas!

The E.P. is almost finished now with the final vocal tracks being recorded over the next few days, its been an interesting ride and we can't wait to share it with you (I know a privileged few have already had some advance listens of the material in various stages of development..) and it is also the first Mungo release to be an entirely 'in house' production (basically me and the lovechild have written, recorded, produced and mastered the whole damn thing ourselves). And by this point in time I think it's safe to say that we are more caffeine than human, well maybe a little gaffer tape to hold everything in place!

So what can you expect.... well thats a little hard to describe really, some signature madness, a few eclectic little ditties and of course something a bit epic.

We're going to have some tunes online for you soon, so in the mean time watch this space...
